Rillion Prime and Rillion One had grown through acquisition with strong AP automation but outdated interfaces. Inconsistent patterns and disjointed functions made daily tasks—matching, coding, approving invoices—harder than they needed to be, and the mobile experience didn’t support key workflows.
Observation studies and close coordination with product, design, and development led to a modern UI that preserved familiar microcopy and features. We introduced a comprehensive design system and clear Figma workflows, plus a new mobile app focused on invoice inbox and approval with attachment support.
This project shows how to modernize two products in parallel while preserving what users rely on, and how a design system and mobile app can set a product up for the next phase.
