Toyota Europe was evolving its digital ecosystem across markets and brands. Accessory journeys and vehicle configuration had to scale without fragmenting experience or diverging from the Connected Design System (CDS). Customers interact with accessories during configuration and after purchase—the system had to support both contexts with one coherent logic.
We mapped accessory logic across configuration and post-purchase, defined a journey architecture (vehicle selection → configuration → accessory integration → checkout; post-purchase entry → browsing → recommendations → purchase), and aligned on a scalable component-based approach with CDS. Unified component strategy with brand-level adaptation for Toyota and Lexus; design and development evolved in parallel.
This project shows designing accessory journeys that support lifecycle continuity at enterprise scale.
