Hospital billing audits were cumbersome: viewing statements, importing data, analyzing items by reason for denial, and appealing or accepting glosas was fragmented. Users needed a controlled flow to select or import statements, analyze by batch or reason, and send results to health plans (convênios).
I led a design sprint with a team of five and close collaboration with users and stakeholders. We delivered the Assistente de Análise de Glosa: stepped flow (Select batches → Fazer análise → Revisar → Finalizar), view modes (all items / by reason / by account), inline Recursar form with justification and attachment, and success screen with protocol, print/PDF/XML, and list of analyses realizadas. Final designs in Sketch and Zeplin.
This project shows shipping a streamlined claims adjustment assistant in two months with a small team and strong user and stakeholder facilitation.
